We have been working for three years on WS Residence and have now obtained three different planning consents for a rooftop addition to the existing penthouse. Located in the highly prestigious Wycombe Square development in Notting Hill the proposed design aims to provide additional enclosed living space for the existing young family and also involves the refurbishment the fifth floor below. The new lightweight contemporary rooftop addition is comprised of vast runs of sliding / folding glazing maximising the panoramic views over London with externally mounted sliding timber sunscreens for climate control.

Working alongside an Italian interior designer the clients brief was to have both the look, feel and quality of a super-yacht to feature stone, marble, onyx and oak flooring including back-lit onyx to the bathroom walls. The internal floor-plate is to be opened up eliminating all structural elements which are pushed to the external envelope. This will allow for a vast internal sweeping curved partitions finished in high gloss and matt lacquer – integrating bespoke solid and sprayed joinery throughout.
