Pt I + Pt 2 Vacancies

 

We are currently looking for both a Part I architectural assistant (12/24 month contract) and will be looking for a Part II architectural assistant (to fill a vacancy from Dec – June) to join our Hackney-based studio.

 

The practice is currently working on a number or private residential projects at differing scales as well as the wellness, retail sectors but are always open to other briefs

 

This is an opportunity to work as part of our small close-knit team on every stage – from outline design through to completion and beyond. There is a wealth of experience to be gained in experiencing the running of projects of varying timescales, sizes and budgets as well as being in direct communication with each and every participant in the architectural process.

 

We seek highly motivated candidates who have a passion for architecture, design and the broader creative arts and are willing to learn and also bring something extra to the team.

 

Qualifications, qualities and experience:

 

–         RIBA part I / part II qualified (or those wishing to undertake their part III soon)

–         experience in architectural practice is not a necessity for the Pt I

–         2-3 years studio / site experience is essential for the Pt II

–         confident to work independently, with good communication skills

–         experience of collaborative teamwork

–         proficient at both 2D+3D software (we use Autocad, Sketchup)

–         excellent design and presentation skills, including hand drawing

–         excellent graphical skills with ability to produce succinct presentation

–         ability to build physical models would be beneficial but is not essential

–         applicants should include a brief covering letter explaining their suitability
